The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) has released updated versions of two key reporting templates used for responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence: the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) version 6.5 and the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) version 2.0. These updates are important for companies working to meet legal, customer, and ESG requirements related to mineral sourcing.
CMRT 6.5 is now available and includes the following update:Updated Smelter Reference List reflecting the most current verified information on smelters and refiners.
The CMRT is used to collect information on the use and sourcing of tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG) in accordance with Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act and other responsible sourcing frameworks.
