Since January 2021, companies, placing articles on the EU market, which contain substances of very high concern (SVHCs) with a concentration of more than 0.1 % w/w, are obliged to enter data into the SCIP database. SCIP is the abbreviation for „Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products)” and is established under the Waste Framework Directive.
